Join us for Fall Market 2015, our semi-annual tabletop event where manufacturers’ representatives present the latest furniture, outdoor, lighting, area rugs, fabrics, wallcoverings, trimmings, drapery hardware and window covering introductions. Informal showings will take place throughout the day. Guests will enjoy light refreshments and can enter for chance to win an Apple iPad Air 2.

From Concept to Creation: The Process of Lighting Design
Presented by Eleanor Niermann & Claire Niermann – Founded in 1978 by Joe Niermann, Niermann Weeks is a family-owned company now in its second generation. The company’s classically inspired pieces and design aesthetics relate to both traditional and contemporary interiors. All products are handmade and finished in their Maryland studio, and almost half of their business is dedicated to custom designs to meet the special needs of professional interior designers.
Joe’s daughters, Eleanor and Claire, grew up side-by-side with the business, and have taken over the design reins since Joe’s retirement. They will share the different techniques, both old and new, of designing, fabricating and finishing hand-crafted lighting fixtures and furnishings. The process involves everything from cardboard cutouts and 3-D computer modeling to hand forging and lasers. Prepare to be amazed!
